Benchmarking Sustainable Mobility in Higher Education

Sustainable mobility is an increasingly significant issue that both public and private organizations consider in order to reduce emissions by their members. In this paper, the Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) approach was used evaluate sustainable mobility. Data coming from a study carried out at University of Foggia were processed Gabi LCA software estimate environmental performance community members according methodology Product Environmental Footprint (PEF) guidelines 3.0. Results organized different classes, creating eco-indicator can be applied institution individual (called Mobility Indicator, SMI). The SMI, computed assess impact Foggia, also best scenario, which considered benchmark. creation classes benchmark analysis represents easier way communicate sustainability based on recommendations for achieving development goals 2030 Agenda adopted all United Nations Member States. Indeed, any organization carry its (in terms mobility) shape transport policies accordingly, leading adoption solutions.
